Flu Season Immune Support with Curcumin

Flu Season Immune Support with Curcumin

The extensive antiviral effects of curcumin shown in research suggest curcumin may offer natural immune support. According to a study published in a 2010, curcumin can reduce viral replication by over 90 percent in laboratory cells infected with influenza varieties. Curcumin decreased viral replication in infected cells, but also seemed to protect other cells from becoming infected. The researchers suggest that curcumin-rich turmeric is a viable candidate for supporting immune function as it can interfere with the replication process in viruses and microbes.

Curcumall®, the concentrated liquid extract of turmeric/curcumin can be used to support healthy immune system function.  The instructions for taking Curcumall® as written on its label: 1-2 times daily—a teaspoon in a glass of water taken on an empty stomach.
